Position Description

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for full-time Registered Nurses at the Office of Community Care (OCC) in Glendale

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing patient-centered care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations. The RN will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care for veterans, ensuring their health and well-being in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Provide education to patients and families regarding health management.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop care plans.
  • Ensure compliance with VA healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Participate in continuous learning and training programs.

 Qualifications:

  • Active RN license in the state of Colorado (or compact state eligibility).
  • A minimum of two (2) years direct patient care experience within thelast three (3) years.
  • Graduation from a school of professional nursing approved by theappropriate State-accrediting agency and accredited by one of thefollowing accrediting bodies at the time the program was completedby the applicant: The accreditation Commission for Education inNursing (ACEN) or The commission on Collegiate Nursing Education(CCNE).
  • Active BLS. 

Work Hours:

  • Shifts may vary based on facility needs, with typical schedules including:
    • Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Monday-Friday 
  • Work Location: 
    • Office of Community Care (OCC), 4100 E. Mississippi Ave, Glendale, CO 80246

 Holidays:

  • The position follows federal holiday schedules, including but not limited to:
    • New Year's Day
    • Martin Luther King Jr. Day
    • Presidents' Day
    • Memorial Day
    • Independence Day
    • Labor Day
    • Veterans Day
    • Thanksgiving Day
    • Christmas Day
