Part time position available Sunday and Monday 7 am to 3 pm
Pay: Starting at $35.00 per hour; higher rates are available for experienced nurses.
Every Other Weekend Availability Required
Juniper Village at the Spearly Center is a unique 130 bed skilled nursing facility, specializing in behavioral and mental health. 80% of our Residents are fully independent and can get themselves up and dressed in the morning. We are tasked with creating a home-like environment for individuals who are often forgotten about or easily discarded by society. Responsibilities:.
Assist with medication administration and documentation for residents in a senior living setting.
Observe patients/residents under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications, etc.
Monitor and record vital signs
Provide assistance as necessary with activates of daily living
Administer prescribed medications, injections, wound care, and other basic medical care tasks
Collect lab samples
Communicate with other members of the team, residents, families and medical professionals
Work as a member of a multidisciplinary team
Requirements
LPN (Required)
BLS Certification (Required)
Familiarity with hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures
Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology
